    I doubt native Puerto Ricans know the whole "fried chicken" stereotype for US blacks.

    Really hope Diaz can come up with the perfect plan to beat Mayweather. Him and Cotto seem really confident, which is good.

    Lol he didn't mean it in a bad way! "Pork meat" is a general term used in Puerto Rico when talking about an arrogant person. Cotto has been called arrogant by many fans in the island, because of his serious and not charismatic personality. He is not as fan friendly as Tito was, therefore a lot of people here don't like him.

    As for being undisciplined, Cotto had been known to be partying, drinking and hanging out a lot during the last couple of years(Pre-Pacquiao). Too much for a pro athlete. I used to remember being at the disco or at a famous Irish Pub here in the island and seen him drinking and partying A LOT. Seems to have changed after the Pac fight!

    Puerto Ricans eat a lot more chicken than black people do... rice and beans with chicken is served 90percent of the time during dinner... maybe twice a weak they change it to pork chops or something else

    From what I understand, Puerto Rican blacks live largely on the coast, and of course, Mestizos are expected to be the ones in rural areas farming the chickens in the first place. Anyone can get chicken in urban centers of course, but it would be odd for anyone in Latin America to be frying their pollo the way it's done in the US.

    People are actually comparing cottos beatings to mayweathers time off? The hell? :lol: that's absurd. Its beyond obvious that mayweather has more in the tank then cotto. However, floyds still not young himself and how much difference it makes in the outcome of the fight is debatable. I think cotto might be out of his depth in any year... but both were better in 08, mayweather has much more in the tank then cotto does now though, margarito and pac beatdowns do not = with going on vacqtions, having a highly defensive style and fighting once a year. Mayweather would be more effective if he fought more.. for sure, but they are not equal.

    Mayweather will always have much more in the tank at any period of time whether it be in 2008 2011, 2026, floyd is a superior athlete.

    We will see...Floyd has been fighting more aggressive lately...stading in the pocket a lot more....i even seen 3+ punch combo int he Ortiz fight last time i seen him do that was Hatton....i dont know i see it as a pretty clear UD for Floyd...Cotto just is not on thislevel never has been.

    So nobody else cracked up when Miguel blew a kiss? That **** was hilarious. You can tell Cotto is jovial among his friends, but it's rare to see that kind of moment.
