pre-fight, most ESBers voted for a Pac KO. I for one predicted a stoppage win for Pac, but as the fight comes to close, I changed my views for a yet another close fight.

There were times in both fights though that he was hesitant to jump into the fire. In the second fight, there were a couple of entire rounds Pacquiao just stood there puzzled without landing a thing. Blame foul play Hereida, blame the Pedialyte, if it really makes you feel any better, but don't pretend that Marquez had to change a lot to do to Manny what he did to some degree in the first two fights already and that he somehow hits harder than Cotto and Margarito. Pacquiao knew what Marquez could do to him with consistency, which matters more than straight power, and probably went in cautions and was only made more ineffective by Marquez's sharp offense and elusive defense.

  4. I wish there were more boxing programs with accurate analysing of fights like this. Especially in English. Mexicans know their ****.

This is why you're a gigantic ****** - completely incapable of being the least bit objective. Marquez hired the second most shady figure in the PEDs scandal and you never once questioned it. He drank, for the first time that I can remember in any of his fights, a colored beverage. You don't question it. If Pac hired Memo and drank **** in between rounds, you'd talk **** relentlessly and you KNOW it.

    Wise man! :good

Despite it not being a War, I thought it was a great fight, Marquez was inspired but I thought Pacquiao was great too!

I second the motion. ESPN should copy a version of golpe a golpe with guests like floyd, klits, amir, pac, ward and other top boxers giving their fans on how to analyze fights. that will be good for the sport.:good

an example would be rjj and tarver discussing their previous fights along with the commentators, just like what barerra and morales did.

Marquez hired the second shadiest guy linked to the Balco scandal - a guy who has boasted about creating 20+ drugs that are undetectable - and was then seen drinking a colored substance between rounds. You can pretend this is all coincidence if you want, and I'm assume you're just going to.

Unfortunately, boxing in the US takes second fiddle to a shitload of other sports.

Of course it's coincidence. You think he was taking PEDs between rounds? :rofl Jesus christ you are thick.

Listen, Pacfag. JMM gave your boy hell twice before, before Heredia was on the scene, and he gave him hell again with Heredia there, no difference. Move on to your next excuse.

People expect fighters to fight the same way from the beginning of thier careers to the end and thats just ludicrous.Fighters are human beings first and time and punishment takes a toll on thier body and minds. Wisdom sets in and they adjust. Manny and Marquez inflicted a lot of damage on each other in the previous two fights and while they both wanted to exacute thier game plan, nither wanted to take the same punishment. It dont make sense and it shows growth. Thats why I was cool with the flow of the fight. Marquez increased his power and strenght while Pac improved on his head and foot movement. If you watch all three fights, you will see that they were basically fought the same way, only a little more caution was taken in the third and I think that mentally, Marquez was in control. Thats why he was landing the better punches.:bbb:bbb:bbb
