Thats the problem. Boxing does'nt have a centralized governing body as all of the major sports do.
Nobody governs boxing. Each sanctioning body and state commisions do their own thing, which is why corruption easily hits the sport.
There is'nt a centralized governing body with a commisioner to oversee that what the sanctioning bodies are doing are for the betterment of the sport.

Its a World Boxing commisioner who could work to see to it a 24 hour boxing channel came off the ground not only to gain advertisers for their channel, but to promote the sport and make it better.

You're right, a promoter would be looking after himself and biasly favoring his own fighters in a boxing channel he had self interest in.

Setting up a boxing channel would have to come from a centralized boxing governing body (which does'nt exist) or a private group of investors and boxing fans who see an interest in it.

I just think it would be great for us boxing fans if we had a 24 hour boxing channel.
