Since the most popular boxing news site is reporting only DiBella's side of the story, and lots of boxing youtubers are telling lies about Povetkin "losing" the court case, I thought I'd give you guys a translation of what Ryabinsky said in an interview with AllBoxing, the most popular Russian boxing site:

"The jurors came out with a decision against us, but that's not the decision of the court yet. The judge will make his decision later. He can uphold the jury's decision, or he can reject it. But we lost with the jurors. We'll wait for the judge's decision, and if we aren't satisfied with it, we'll appeal it. The jurors had to decide whether Povetkin took Meldonium in the period in which the drug was prohibited. They believe he took it, although he actually didn't."

Basically, the jurors have pronounced Povetkin guilty of a crime he had already been cleared of. If these people haven't taken hundreds of thousands of dollars from Al Haymon, then I'm the owner of the Statue of Liberty.

Well they lost the first battle, how often does a judge reject the jury?

About as often as you find a gold ring in a can of Pork'n'Beans.

The judge rejects the jury's decision when he can clearly see that the jurors have all been bribed. It's happened many times in history, especially when the mafia was involved. In this case, we have Al Haymon's mafia.

Even if we accept the theory of Al Haymon's bribes, it makes far more sense to bribe the judge than all the jurors.

I just don't get it he clearly cheated anyone saying he wasn't taking the peds after is an idiot. I smoke pot if I get drug tested I'm going to fail. If I stop smoking for 2-3 months I will **** clean. If I've been pissing clean for 2 months and then **** dirty the following month. How in the world did I **** clean the first few months?!?!?..... go ahead I'll wait. Common sense would be that I smoke pot at some point even if it's below the threshold of nangrams. You don't **** clean multiple times then all the sudden **** dirty from residue being still in your system. If you truly believe someone pisses clean twice then pisses dirty is clean well sh!t please don't reproduce

Look if haymon wanted to set up povetkin, then povetkin would've popped for multiple PED's in high amounts. The fact that he tested positive for trace amounts tells me he mistimed his dose or took a little too much one time or the tests sensitivity and cut off for a positive result was more than anticipated. People are going to extremes to try to excuse povetkin and it's pretty sad. He was too stupid to pass the test period
