We have a mechanism to meet robberies going forwards but in general the offical decisions are being respected where possible. I'm happy with Abril where he is, though some folks were keen to see him at #3.

Well, under the current criteria, I'd say 4 is appropriate.

transnational? then why are 80% of the board american?

not being funny but we all know americans love to hpe their fights and be slag a fighter from any other nation off...i like the idea of this, but when its wheighed so heavily with americans we will just get what we already get, a top heavy ameribum rankings.

The **** are you talking about, 11/25 members are Americans, that's not 80% it's less than 50%.

And there are more Europeans than Americans in the rankings, according to the adding Dr Mo did.

so you have 11 usa members and 14 from various other nations and you dont think you'll get an american heavy rankings? its doomed from the start, just as it would be if nearly half were british or polish or cuban. 2 max from each country, if you got more on board you could do 3 max, then 4...but to start with almost 50% all from one country we all know what rankings you'll end up with already.

So 80% means it's doomed, and 40% also means it's doomedand the fact that the rankings carry more Europeans than Americans doesn't matter, it's doomed? OK, thanks.

yes it is, you have nearly 50% from one nation...which means you end up with another Lacy and Pavlik ranked higher than a Calzaghe.

That's pretty much inevitable anwyay, there's no way to have rankings that are flawless.

Why not cite an actual example of bias instead of bringing up theoretical scenarios and throwing ad homs at the members of the committee?

I see so you're taking current position as a starting point and moving on with it so any debate will only involve future fights?

That's alright really cos you can't change history but you can debate the present.

Are there any ideas to put these rankings "out there" and get them some more publicity?

I do personally disagree with the championship policy considering the current climate but the rankings look fairly solid (aside from some relying on past decision being legit)

Yeah, looks like they're going to be supported on boxing.com and ESB and we'll see from there. Press release is all over the internet yesterday.
