I am sure people have already seen this. Just one of the downsides of the sport we love so much.

Oh... and i guess James Toney's weight issues are not all his doing!!

I thought the ending was interesting when they said football head injuries can be more dangerous than any punch in boxing. Always heard that more people die from football than boxing.

Jamez Toney needs to retire. No point in having a legacy if you can't sit back to remember and enjoy the legacy.

He's only fought four times in four years, and only one of those fights was tough.

I don't know the statistics in terms of deaths and brain injuries, but CTE from football is some serious ****. Similar to dementia puglistica.

I've done a bit of research on it, and the issue is sobering....the NFL does a hell of a job to hide the issue and denied it was even a problem until Congress started grilling them. I view them as no different than the tobacco industry minimizing the problems with smoking while still marketing to kids.

I heard about how some former NFL players are filing suit because the NFL hid too much about the consequences of concussions.

Although of course I've always known football was violent, I never thought of it like boxing until recently with more publicized cases.

Andre Waters had the brain of an 85 year old with Alzheimer's.

Low T and low HGH is no joke. When my doctors read my levels in 08, he recommended I take steroids, nandrolone and decadurabolin.

I already got 5 kids, and I don't feel weaker than I used to, but my calves muscles have shrunk and my biceps are down to 15.5 and 15, and I weigh almost 175.
    Last time I benched, about 6 mos ago, I couldn't get 235 up once. I was limited to 210 3x. When I was 25, my arms were 16.5 and 15.5, and I could get 255 up 3X.

I quit boxing at 28, with a 6mo return at 32. Don't know if my low T is just being 38 or because of that pituitary issue. Tests cost big $$$$, and the roids nearly as much. And if the doc prescribes them, you could get em a little cheaper than at the gym, but he wants you in his office once a month :)rofl$125), and want to check your levels every 2 months ($1100).

Considering what Toney is going through and knowing how difficult it is, I wouldn't consider him cheating unless his levels were through the roof.

I'm not a HW. I fought mostly at JMW, and can get down to SMW in about 6 days, even at 38.

I wonder what Johnsons arms are? Probably about 17, and he's a former world champ. Same for Bute, Ward, and Froch.

I'm old, but I still aint weak, even with low T.

I'm not going to lie. You posted a lot of non sense.

But have you ever thought that at 38 years old you won't have the muscle mass you did at 25? Due to many factors, including naturally aging, not exercising as much, etc...

Also..what's with measuring your muscles? And you keep a record of this? I know a lot of parents will keep track of their kids growth, is it like that? You take a measure of your biceps and calves and put it on the fridge?

The real question is..I wonder what Kessler's arms are?

Or even Abraham's.... I think he had some big arms, especially for the division. With arms like that, I'm surprised he's not undefeated. His arms were clearly bigger than Dirrell's and Froch's.

Yeah, I get it.......and btw, I come from a large competitive family. 3 brothers, 2 older and 1 younger, and 3 sisters, sadly my younger sister passed.
