alexander povetkin and travis kauffman both signed contracts to fight may 3rd on marco huck under card winner will be wba number 1 heavyweight. http://www.1tv.ru/news/sport/251736 kauffman will be the winner by late tko
Easy win for Povetkin.... Kauffman is ranked a lot higher than he should be. Povetkin had a stellar amateur career, would have been a dominant world champion if the Klitschkos weren't around. No american HW can beat him. top 5, maybe even top 3 in the world right now.
kauffman was the number 1 heavyweight in amateur turning pro and was pretty good...povetkin is top 7 heavyweight but travis kauffman is better than people say and hes just as good as anyone povetkin beat chambers didnt hit hard and to small byrd same to small no poer donald was old chagaev too short and style is same as povetkin so didnt work huck beat him rahman old boswell was never that good jason estrada is lazy kauffman is beat hes fought other then wladimir, and coming off a loss an layoff
povetkins fights eddie chambers no power small 6 foot 208lbs chris byrd no power to small old 6 foot 210lbs larry donald was old ruslan chagaev to short 5 11 poor man version of povetkin jason estrad not in good shape no power lazy marco huck beat povetkin hasim rahman old and outta shape cedric boswell old and not that good Andrzej Wawrzyk padded record no chin leo nolan padded record
povetkin and pulev are far underrated. i would say that povetkin is a great contender and would be champ in some eras. imo povetkin beats stiverne, arreola, fury, wilder and jennings without much problem and has a very close fight with pulev.
All I know is that he was knocked out cold by bellow average Tony Grano, doesn't seem that good to me. who the hell has Kauffman beat? local cabdrivers and drunks dragged from the gutter? his resume is even worse than Wilders! I think this will be a one sided affair, Povetkin KO inside 4.
What does that have to do with anything? I take it that you and Travis are good friends? Good that you support your buddy, but at the same time it's good to be a realist, Povetkin is easily several classes above Kauffman and will beat him no problem.
Does Povetkin really care to be the #1 contender and aim for a rematch with Wladimir?. If so, I guarantee I'm skipping that fight and won't even care to check the results.
gain. Like all fighters, deterioration sets in and I really wonder how well his career goes if he's at like 85%. The next 3 fights of his could very well see another loss just because he's reached the other side of the mountain and is on the sliding down side now. And I don't think that version is going to win every fight.
Good little comeback fight. let's hope Povetkin has a trainer sorted out he can stick with now for a change. It was a shambles the way Atlas was let go just prior to the Klitschko fight. Which seemed to be down to Ryabinskiy which was ridiculous. Atlas had Povetkin rejuvenated and looking perhaps his best ever. The way Povetkin destroyed Rahman and Wawrzyk was stunning.
might be interesting. Gotta favor Povetkin in a large way though. Kaufman hasn' exactly beat anyone...
