Whats the future for him? He looked like a truly elite fighter prior to losing to Alcine. The problem for him is that he's 37, but he's got skills.

The guy is old, inactive and not exactly well-connected in the game (if he was he'd be getting more fights). He's talented enough, and seems a likable guy, but i really think this guy's going nowhere anymore.

I've been following Travis' career for about 6 yrs now as he is a CT resident like myself.

Unfortunately that loss vs. Alcine was a **** fight and completely took Travis out of the picture.

He needs to make some kind of significant fight for low money in order to get a crack at Santos or Mora.

He needs to take a few steps back before regaining some notoriety and, most importantly, become a mandatory.

No titlist will offer him a fight for an optional defense. He's too much of a risk for someone who doesn't bring much to the table.

At 37, it's a lot asking to fight his way up again.

Don King fighters are the most inactive.
At least Top Rank / Golden Boy steps up the competition in good time.

Well Simms couldn't fight at all for 2 1/2 years because he was in litigation with King.

I doubt much else happens with either Travis or his twin brother Tarvis. They had promise at one point, but Travis got old in a hurry, and I suspect he's just not a top-tier fighter anymore. 5 years ago, Simms would have ripped Alcine's head off and **** in his skullhole, yet in the actual fight he could barely get off punches. Simms is done.

King didnt ruin ****! Its not his fault that American heavyweight boxing is ****. The man brought us ****ing Ali-Foreman for Christ sake, and countless other huge, significant fights over history, so show respect. He's just washed up thats all, but in his prime he was dominate over all other promoters.

King is awfull he ruined boxers like santos that is inactive ass heel nobody whants to do bussines with King thats why every fighter in the king stable are inactive, broke, poor, and becoming olds. Collazo is suffering the same fate. lucky he is still young.
