I've heard of Wilson but never seen him before. This was only his second fight in 3 years. I'd watch him again, though.

Jeez, what a pathetically anticlimatic "KO".

Now I cant say Walker did anything right in the brief seconds it lasted:nono He looked questionable while taking several shots in combination.

At least Wilson is a US amateur champ and has some background. It was text book, land a 1, 2, and swarm.

Brock vs Chambers,Is the next USA HW!!

    Followed by Chris Arreola.

Even though it seems premature, Walker should not have dropped his hands because it made it appear that he was out on his feet.

Arreola & Chambers look like the only 2 undefeated americans at heavyweight with any sort of good boxing skills.

I thought Wilson would get clocked in one.

Walker's head was dangling out there and it was about to get alot worse IMO. I wish it would have lasted a couple minutes anyway.

Agreed. When Waker's head was lolling around at the same time his arms were down, it looked as if he were out on his feet. At that time he looked totally defenseless. His head seemed to clear a few seconds after the ref jumped in and stopped it, but I can see why the ref did what he did.

After previously watching Walker twice on Shobox , I knew he was a Knock out waiting to happen. Walker is very crude, and gets hit way too easy.

Walker showed a more energy arguing with the ref after being stopped, then he did against Wilson. He should have kept his hands up, and either thrown something back or clinched.

The Jason Gavern fight already demonstrated Walker wasn't the real deal. It was annoying he was saying he should get a shot vs. Peter after Maskaev got hurt. He'd beaten no one.

  13. That was a shitty stoppage plain and simple, **** the ref's in boxing these day's are as brain dead as the judges...:-(

I have been watching alot of these cards here in California, like on telefutura and HBO, and SHowtime. ANd there have been a lot of stoppage by the refs and doctors lately. Some of them premature, such as the doctor stepping in the Agbeko-Luis Perez fight. Recently, they had a fighter get seriously injured (maybe he died I don't remember), in a fight out her in CA. So I think they are just being extra careful, this will probably last until the end of the year. Then maybe they will go back to usual, giving the fighters more leeway and chances to continue boxing.

That could actually be a good match up.
But right now, we dont know anything about Wilson ??

Is he ready to go 8-10 rounds..
He didnt look in shape, but he had the right gameplan for winning.
Putting on pressure and go for the kill...

Walker I a great athlete, but he dosnt have any amateure background.
He needs alot of fights and rounds, before he is ready for contender level.
