Travis Walker

I haven't seen a lot of Travis Walker but he did lose to Jason Estrada. I would expect Arreola to win.

 

I don't see a whole lot in Travis Walker, Arreola should walk through him.

 

I too think Arreola wins this fight by stoppage.

Walker almost lost to roly poly George Garcia, and he really isn't that good. He doesn't like pressure and Arreola will bring plenty. I think he gets Walker out of there within 6 rounds.

 

If Arreola wins I'd like to see Solis v Arreola.
A meaningful heavyweight fight.

 

It would also be nice to see Bowie Tupou trying to be a bit more active.
Come on, Bo. Step in the ring already.

 

Walker isn't really that good at all. And you talk about defence??? Walker has NONE. His fight with George Garcia it felt like he got hit with every single shot Garcia threw and he was so lucky that Garcia had no power at all because he would have gotten sparked.

Arreola should get Walker out of there in less then 5 rounds. Arreola maybe not look pretty but he gets the job done Walker on the other hand arguable lost to Gavern, Garcia, Estrada and lost to Wilson although it was a quick stoppage.

 

He's decent in this day and age. In the 90s/late 80s, He wouldn't be good enough for preliminary bouts on PPVs but because he's American...and we're desperate for something resembling a somewhat coherent HW champion...he's going to be given A LOT of opportunities. He's prone to some major lapses in focus and defense...and can be marked up by more precise fighters.

Chris Arreola is an interesting sort of guy. He reminds me a lot of David Tua (not nearly as talented). He's not very technical, his stamina and chin are unproven and his conditioning is a hot mess..but he's powerful and so long as he continues to knock cans into bolivian, he'll always be forgiven for his lack of overall skill. Strikes me as an "Always contender, never a champion" sort of fighter.

Yeah Rocko's Modern Life was my favorite show as a kid. Figured since my other one got played out, I'd switch up.

As per this fight, I'd certainly favor Arreola to pick up the win in tremendous fashion...but then again neither guy is exactly the most proven candidate out there so I wouldn't put money on it.

 

My other Av. It was Harvey Birdman. Sort of like how you dropped Fat Bowe.

I'll be rooting for Arreola only because I think he has more of a shot to do something at the next level...but I wouldn't be surprised if Walker exposes his severe lack of technical ability. And Walker ain't much of a boxer so...you do the math.
