Just a little video sample of a young fighter coming up through the ranks.

Trent has the potential to go a very long way in Boxing.

Brian, personally i think your a good bloke so my following comments are no reflection on you as a person.

Broadhurst is cherry picking, its not hard for him to rack up 6 wins in 6 fights when he is fighting tomato cans and it will do him no good when he trys to step it up in the quality of opposition, it gives him a false sence of confidence and often causes fighters at the elite level to fall short as we have seen with quite a few AUS boxers who have taken this route.

Broadhurst was an ABA champion with aspirations of getting into Melb commonwealth games and Bejing Olympic games, he apparently knocked back a lucrative contract deal with a USA promoter to fight on world championship undercards in the states and knocked it back because he wanted to get into the Indian Olympic games in 2010.

Someone this good should not be fighting Tomato cans, what exactly is the purpose other than to pad his record? ...

What a disgrace, anyone involved with this fight should have hung their head in shame, this does boxing no good and its nothing more than fraud, selling a fight as a competitive one when its no more than a one sided bashing from the onset.

I rekon just about anyone would look good fighting blokes like this brian, put him in with someone who can actually fight and then lets see how he toils. The only potential i see atm is Trent beating up on bums.

What happen to all the USA fight offers or was that just blowing smoke up our asses?

    SHOW ME THE MONEY! :bbb

Dont disagree that the level of opponent is not up to Trents standard. Simply putting the video up for people to see whats coming. Trent will step up quicker than most mate so show a little patience and give ACE Boxing time to get the right matches for him.

I dont recall anyone ever mentioning anything abot USA fights? I think you have me confused with someone else??

Broadhurst V Les Piper on the 3rd June should be a good test for him.

2010 was a Commonwealth Games year.

The USA fights i was refering to was comments trent made in an interview, i should have quoted the source, sorry m8.

Cant see him fighting any top Australian fighters in that footage, all i see is him bashing tomato cans. If he fought anyone in the ranks of ANBF Super Welter ratings he would be tested, this has yet to happen.

I think the team working with him can do alot better than matching him up with fighters that have a string of losses on their records. It is not testing Trent what so ever or preparing him for harder fights that will come.

I dont think its wise to put a race horse in a donkey race in preparing him for the Melbourne Cup, he wont fair very well because he has been racing with donkeys at a donkey pace, never been tested or pushed before.

The Piper fight will test him somewhat however take in mind that Piper is a middleweight and not a super, there is around 5kg diffrence, whilst Piper has fought at super before he is not a natrual super like Trent. Either way it should be intresting as its a huge step up from the previouse 6 tomato cans Trent has fought.

I would really like to see Trent fight either of the following..(rise though these ranks?)

    Michael Bolling
    Les Sherrington
    Junior Talipeau
    Serge Yannick
    Jamie Pittman
    Nader Hamdan
    Shannan Taylor
    Daniel Pawsey

These guys are from ANBF Australian Super Middleweight ratings and in order. I would like to see him fight atleast ONE of these top 8 fighters from our country. All of which imo would fight Trent tommorow if they money was right.

Ty, 22yr old Broadhurst has been pro for less than 12 months.

Don't remember anyone criticising the likes of,

    Fred Mundraby
    Jarrod Fletcher
    Paul Fleming
    Lenny Zappa
    Will Tomlinson

for not stepping it up and fighting seasoned professionals so early in their careers. [ Willie Kickett was an exception ]

But then again you're probably thinking about your own illustrious career [again]. I think you're suffering from " The older I get the better I was ' syndrome." Professional help is available. :D

Ty is just pissed off that boxing was never included in the Special Olympics, he never got his chance to shine.

The US offer was legitimate but it didnt happen - Top Rank through Mike Altamura. Paul Flemming is on the same deal.

Watch the next 12 months mate, Trent will fight people in your list.

The way some people analyse a prospect only gives away how much...or in this case how little they truly know. Not that we needed confirmation....

Fair dinkum.... all this moaning from a greasy little **** ant who refused to turn PRO because he could not get footage of his opponent..

    Broadhurst has a bright future.

Ty's future is much like himself... very ****ing short.
