Trevor Berbick v Ray Mercer

If Rays in top shape I’ll back him to win on the cards. Would be a rugged fight, two guys that would likely stand and bang, two sturdy chins.

 

Probably take Trevor to outwork him for the decision.

Anyone really think Mercer bothers to get himself in top shape while watching videos of Berbick?

 

Berbick on points imo.

 

I think Berbick outhustles him and wins a decision.

Mercer had some notable strong points that we all know about, but he generally liked to fight at his own pace. Berbick was very good at disrupting the other fighter's rhythm, and Tyson aside was difficult to discourage.

 

Mercer by controversial SD. Precision punches of Mercer against the volume of Berbick. I guess this one depends on what the judges like.

 

Mercer.on points I could see ray dropping berbick early once or twice Trev was barmy enough to trade with Mercer and rough enough to go the distance.

 

This one has the potential to be one heck of a slug fest.

 

Very tough one because Mercer was so hot and cold. If I had to bet, I would bet on Mercer, but it is either way.

Mercer at his best wins, he has a much better jab and in this fight that's enough.
