Dubois by decision. Dubois has just knocked out bums. Even Bryan isn't that good he is still good boxer and seasoned veteran, he could take this to distance. Dubois explosive punching will score him the most of the rounds.

I don't think it'll be that quick tbh. Bryan has decent distance control with the jab when he fights smart. He often doesn't fight so smart so if he approaches Dubois like that, it could happen. We're all used to Dubois KO'ing bums and cab drivers in 1 or 2 rounds we didn't even remember that he went 5 rounds with Gorman who was hurt by basically every punch Dubois threw and also 4 with Lartey who made it an all out war from the first round on. Even a guy like Tom Little went 5 rounds. I think Bryan will be fine for the first few rounds and Dubois also might shake off some rust. Let's not forget Dubois changed coaches and his new one is a coach who is more safety first, pick your spots and be patient kind of coach.

I think the first 2-3 rounds will be relatively close with low output on both sides. Dubois will pick it up in 4-5 and drop him once to a 6th or 7th round TKO.

What's the undercard like for this fight?

Terrible would be an understatement. Guidry and Elbiali are both fighting nobodies, and they're also kind of nobodies.

That's highly possible, but the fact that Stiverne got his jab on track and started landing rights, with relative ease, quite early, IIRC and that Guidry had a few spots of success. Means Dubos, who is far better and longer than both of them, will find his range early. Although we're both in agreement, be it 1 or 2 or midway, Bryan gets KTFO. This is the only thing to debate about.

Yes. Stacy Frazier dealt him a flash knockdown when the two fought in mid-2015, just before Trevor Bryan fought Derric Rossy.

DuBois by TKO/KO sometime in Rounds 1, 2, or 3.

    Maybe the better prediction is:

How many times will Bryan bother getting up before the ref stops it?

I don't think it will be that quick. Trevor Bryan has sparred some of the top guys Luis Ortiz, Shannon Briggs, Jarrel Miller. He is also now trained by Larry Holmes.

It will go atleast past 5 rounds.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Bryan had Dubois in trouble at some point. Dubois is a domestic level fighter.

He sparred those guys six years ago. Big deal. There are plenty of useful camp bodies lying around who achieve very little in their own careers because sparring with headgear and a kidney belt is one thing, while an actual bout is very different. Refer to Bogdan Dinu and Malik Scott for recent proof of that.

And Larry Holmes isn't training Bryan. He's shown up to the gym a few times to say some nice things about him in front of the cameras. Trevor is promoted by Don King and Larry has an assocation with Don King that goes back almost 50 years.

Dacarree Scott (Jonathan Guidry's opponent) is not well-known, but he is defintely an entertaining fighter. At 5' 10" he can't really reach the top of the HW division (or even the top-shelf in your kitchen pantry) but he's a puncher.

His opponent here is a tomato can - but you almost feel sorry for him when he goes FDAU.

Scott seems pretty slick for a guy whose center-of-gravity is south of his shoelaces.

I like him the same way I like Alan Babic. He's interesting enough, in fact, that I don't want Don King anywhere near him.

Joyce was "too much too soon" for DuBois and it wasn't a totally one-sided fight at that. Joyce punished him for havingl lots of balls and ambition, but I'm going to need to see more obvious failings from DuBois before I relegate him to the ranks of Ian Lewison and Sam Sexton.
