Morrison showed power, didn't mind seemed to get hit and finishing ability. He needs a lot of work ( defense, jab, countering ) but seems to be a reasonably good athlete. With Roach as his trainer, it will get interesting. This content is protected
It's a crime that this kid didn't lace a pair of boxing gloves up sooner! Been on board since day 1 just because he was Morrisons kid, but he's actually a very exciting talent who's well worth following - and with his performance the other day he actually becomes a legitimate prospect who should be taken seriously.
Nice!!! Finally a home grown, American, cornbread fed white man that's got the form and the power. He don't like to tussle either. Look at the way he pushes his opponent off and hits him with the hooks and crosses. Lord willing Freddie Roach can take him to title contention. No wind milling and bullshitting. Mid-West love
Actually, his promoter tried to talk him out of boxing before Trey went professional. Then Trey hit the gym and looked like his father, and the promoter quickly changed his mind! With no amateur background, more work is needed, but when you have Roach, who works well with aggressive forward mover types, your fighter can quickly make up for the lost time.
