He's also going to be better under Virgets bc it's his only fighter...as long as he takes what Roach has taught him so far. Very dangerous fighter offensively. The main difference between him and Tommy are he doesn't load up on shots , they are crisper and shorter and I believe his right hand is stronger than his left hook so he's going to be a more two handed fighter. You know when the fan girls attack in groups you've said something right.....lol
I hope Morrison (Lippe) fights someone on the level of “Prince” Charles Martin this fall. Roach should have some good tests for him
He's not with Roach, he's with Tommy Virgets, T.Morrison's former trainer. This could be a direct short cut seeing what works and doesn't as a blue print. Trey was looking really sharp hopefully they plan on working off the jab and forget that brawling style.
Tommy Morrison would obliterate Wilder. Mark my words friend. Morrison was a legit fighter he just didn’t have his head screwed on straight which Morrison is to blame and nobody else. The guy could fight.
Nope. He is with Virgets and John Brown. Just like his dad was. Said Roach just couldn’t spend the amount of time with him as he needed because he had other fighters.
Trey has potential, but time is not on his side, he needs to fight every month until he gets where he needs to be. He is small, but has power to spare.........................he needs to hurry up, time is wasting................
Trey Morrison is fighting in 5 days time and still us facing the perennial favourite journeyman TBA.....anyone any ideas on which bum it'll be this time? @GALVATRON any ideas?
Nah. He ices Cornish regardless of whether he's any good or not. Cornish is pure ****... Can't fight at all. Morrision is a born fighter with power even if his ceiling as a boxer is relatively low. He'll ice a clown like Cornish every time.
Thx. When exactly did he switch/ I remember noting that in his last few fights, his defense had started to improve dramatically. I thought that was a bit odd for a Roach fighter, though certainly not impossible. Anyway, trey evidently took a year off ON PURPOSE, despite being 26 or 27 y-o, because he wanted to work on his fundamentals. That's really impressive in itself. Could it have been Virgets & Brown that instructed him to do so, needing to do a ground up muscle memory thing? ---------- Well, regardless, Lippe WAS indeed looking very sharp before he stopped. I think he has as good a chance as any other top HW prospect right now, though unfortunately for him the number of excellent prospects seems to be growing every week.
