Virgets is a strength and conditioning guy, not a boxing fundamentals coach. Does Trey have more than one coach on his team? Many do.

 

The Morrison boys are feel good stories.

They're just regular guys who happen to have great genes but they have manners that their father never learned

 

Unless a coach comes with a storied am/pro career, he rarely gets credit unless his gym produces a few superstars.

Even Breland who has the storied career doesn't get any props and he's brought his charge to the pinnacle of all of sport

 

I don't think he will go far, about as far as wilder maybe

 

You realize Wilder is a HW champ right? If that's not going far and if Trey reaches championship status and by your standard that's not far , what in your terms would Trey have to do to go far???

 

I think he could beat the guys wilder beat and that latest heart patient whether that will get him to a world title is very subjective

 

Ortiz is number 3 HW....if you don't think Trey being able to defeat an Ortiz level isn't far...your way off.

Trey MAY fight the top , top guys....even if he gets in top 5 I would say its an accomplishment.

 

The Ortiz fight almost got cancelled due to Ortiz blood pressure levels. And he had wilder almost finished . he didnt have enough steam for the entire fight.
Its wilders first really solid win il give him that but don't act like outpacing an old man with a bad heart is some amazing feat.
Id pick Hughie fury to jab circles around Ortiz until he gasses too.
Morrison is still developing and his opposition is probably better than what wilder faced in his early days

 

galv if wilder showed he could outbox Ortiz or stopped him early id give him a lot.more credit. But he was losing almost every round on any unbias scorecard

 

Dudes please, Ortiz would would hit a 217 lb. novice on the Midwestern club-circuit so hard, it would take them 20 minutes to wake him up.
