Its not about being hungry its about getting rounds in..it would actually be a good opponent but a risky fight BC of the experience gap. Another 5 fights and then that would be more ideal...Trey has to get in there with guys who haven't fought world champion yet .

He needs about 10 more fights just to make up lost time, fast tracking him is not a good idea now. There's too many seasoned guys should he have to get by .

Maybe he needs a guy with a heart condition too to have made it. Dusty has been sitting at 400 pound for about 10 years, maybe his heart is on par with Ortiz.

You realize he was coming back from a year layoff from injuries? Morrison is actually ahead of where Wilder was at this point.

 

Errrr firstly Ortiz was an unproven commodity in his own right but it was still a very good scalp for Wilder.
