His daddy would be proud. Looks like another real heavyweight American fighter is on the rise.

No doubt the kid has power, but there's no way he beats Wilder right now. First of all, he leaves himself way too open when he comes in on the attack, and he throws wide punches. Plus he doesn't have the size to physically impose himself on Wilder. Deontay would stretch him out, and pretty early I think. I get it though. He looks like an exciting fighter and it's a good thing that people are excited about him.

    This is a funny joke.

Wilder would bounce him up and down off the canvas like a basketball. This would be over within 3 rounds.

Trey Leppe will never make it. Trust me. He loses way before he gets to be able to fight an ABC champion strap holder

Anyone with a decent punch can ko Deonturd. That's why he's ducking anyone and in a semi-retirement state right now

Out of Wilder's last 10 opponents, everyone except probably Gavern and Firtha would bounce Young Morrison around the ring. This isn't even a good troll, Wilder would smash him in 2 rounds.

    Let's please stop being foolish

He could but he's not ready. Trey needs 2 more years. He has his father's power, but does he have his chin?

The potential is there, he clearly has inherited his dad's power, you could see that even in his earlier fights.

But he's very raw, his defence needs a lot of work, his dad had better upperbody and head movement. Defence will be key if he's to progress to any significant level, he's far too hittable at the moment.

Wilder right now would school him and KO him quickly, Trey Morrison has a lot to learn before he could compete with Wilder.

I just watched the fight from last night. He is very fluid and natural in his movements. I don't see why he can't make it at least as far as guys like Seth Mitchell. One worry I have is Roach is an awful Defensive coach. Either way the kid certainly has potential if given time.

just on that evidence he is better than Wilder's last faded cherry pick. Has some flaws albeit, is too open, but sure hits like pa.

It's funny that most boxing writers don't even bother to say his name but rather, "Tommy Morrison's son".

This guy may stand a chance against AJ or Parker, but against Wilder, he leaves the ring on a stretcher.

If Dustin Nichols and Harold Sconiers could put this glass-jawed fraud on the canvas, Trey Morrison can surely keep him there.

I offer as much fair criticism at Wilder as anyone here but Trey Lippe loses to Wilder. Now if Trey was offered the same cupcake walk to a strap Wilder was he could win one. But against real competition hems just not ready. He has no upper body movement and his footwork is terrible. Basically the guy he fought was overrated and threw looping arm punches.
I wish Trey well and he does seem exciting but few fighters have the management team of Wilder.
