Somehow I missed this thread before. While not exactly on point, I would (if possible) include Simon & Garfunkel's The Boxer. The subject being how a guy who is down-and-out draws inspiration from a boxer who had it worse than he did but who nonetheless continues in his personal quest to overcome the obstacles in his life. I guess many of us on this forum love pro boxing as our fistic heroes are so much like the fictional characters in that song.
