IMO, the greatest all-round puncher in history.

He hit with shocking power, great variety to the head and body, and with speed and precision.

    What a fighter.

    RIP

    Keep them coming guys...

Not a way a warrior like Arguello should die. All the same very sad news.

well worth checking out his fights. the fights with pryor were absolute wars but to see him in his prime, watch him at 130-135. I recommend his title winning effort against watt and the escalera fight. probably the most perfect punching technique i've ever seen

  13. That 1st fight with Pryor was a classic, anybody else in the ring that night would have been KO'D, but Pryor was an Animal..
I would put him in the top 30 alltime...

He's a little before my time, but I've watched quite a few of his fights on video. The man was all business in the ring. It's amazing how ****ing cool, calm, and confident he was. Every time I see a cocky young fighter, I think to myself how they'd probably **** themselves if they ever looked across the ring and found Arguello waiting for them.
