To Joe Calzaghe and his fans!

Congrats to you and your fans! I voted for RJJ to win but obviuosly I was wrong.

I believe you are one of the greatest boxer that UK has ever produced. An impaccable record of 46-0 is hard to duplicate. I am also one of the guys who questions your resume.

It may not be star studded but you have Kessler, Manfredo among others to speak of.

Kevin Iole is correct when he said..." Not all win know CALZAGHE's true worth" Coz most of his fights was made mostly in Europe ....if I can add but it does not make him less of a man.

About your fight with Two american legends. RJJ and HOPKINS. Congrats! It's just too bad that the said fights came in a little to late
in your career so the fight could have been an epic had it happened much earlier time.

Probably you will win or probably you will lose. But it's all mute and academic now. Just let the boxing fans do all the guessing.

At the end of the day.. sometimes a win is a win! and having 46-0 is NO easy feat! Even PAC,HATTON and Lewis can't duplicate it.

You may retire now but if you want to put icing on the cake you may fight Chad Dawson but it does not really matter anymore.

You have proven yourself. I agree.

If you will listen to all critics, non-believers, calzaghe haters the list of fighters you have to beat will never end...till you get an "L"

For now, sit back and relax and good luck on whatever endeavor you may wish to pursue!

Though I may be percieved a die hard PAC fan. I would like give credit to where REAL credit is due.

classy man. But joe's resume is as good as any other fighter at 168
or 175 minus Rjj. I'd say joe's ledger is as good as b-hops is. maybe with not as media recognized names, but the same class of fighter.

    Good wins
    woodhall(former world champ)
Sheika(when he was unbeaten or w/ one loss and in his prime)
Eubank(joe was only a 4 yr pro and fighting a world class seasoned pro
who had seen his best days)
Brewer(former world champ and big puncher)
    Mitchell( see above )
    Reid ( see above)
    Great wins
Lacy(the manner in which he beat the supposed favored fighter going in)
Kessler(future dominator and 2 time world champ, and in his prime)
Hopkins(Win was tainted until hops beat pavlik like a dog)
Rjj(sure rjj was old, but joe beat him not even trying rds 4 on)

Nothing wrong w/ joe's ledger. the only other fighters active today
W/ better resume's are rjj, oscar, manny. But none of those are undefeated and all have been ko'd.
    Joe's an ATG for sure.

Joe.. did you really have to make a thread about yourself?

Just kidding. I'm a huge Jones fan, and as much as it pains me to say it, Calzaghe doesn't deserve the flak he gets for his resume or his accomplishments, each of which are formidable indeed.

I strongly disagree with the assertion Roy was close to what he was at his peak on Saturday, but that is neither here nor there. Joe came away with a solid victory, and as you've pointed out, 46-0 is no small accomplishment. Hell, the guy hasn't lost since he was 18. That is mighty impressive.

    agree! 46-0!

Of course there will be a lot of arguement saying that Joe took it the easy way etc etc... You'll defenitely hear a lot of trash talk once the die hard fans of rjj and hopkins read it or simply the calzaghe haters..

Simply because they will be a silent as a lamb when they will be asked how many losses does you favorite boxer has...

    cheers!

I'm a solid pac fan and I respect calzaghe's accomplishments!
