Tried to rob loma

I'm a big Linares fan but had him considerably behind. I had him edge two and score a 10-8.

 

I had Lomachenko easily winning the fight at the time of stoppage, but you can't beat Oscar's judges. Wasn't one of the judges Trella, the one who gave El Pollo the 7th round that even the idiot Byrd gave to Golovkin?! Trella is a crook! Those judges were corrupt and I don't like Julie Lederman either. Teddy Atlas had Lomachenko winning the fight on his card. Teddy predicted a 10 round stoppage for Lomachanko, Teddy's curse is off!

 

this , it was competitive the whole way through and the stats showed linares landing more then loma but on a round by round basis it was loma for me

 

It was a close fight, landed punche are the most important criteria. You don't get points for footwork. And in terms of clean effective punches it was very close. I had it 5-4 in rounds for Loma with the score being even due to the KD.

At one point you heard the announcers say that Linares was throwing more punches, that both were landing at the same percentage. Linares shots also sounded and looked harder, considering 2/3 Loma punches are taps mentioned to set the other guy up.


The fight was close, both guys deserve major props. Lomachenko was the slightly fresher fighter with less wear and tear onhim and pulled it out in the end.
Linares is still top 10ish P4P and Loma is probably nr1

86-84 for Loma was spot on.

Linares was outlanding Loma

One judge had it even
One judge had Linares up by 2 points
And I’m saying this as a big Loma fan.

 

I don't think giving JL 1, 6,7 and 9 are terrible. Those rounds were close and of course the 6th was a 10-8 for JL. I'm sure the sack sucking Loma fans scored that round 10-10. I don't see an unbiased viewer being upset with a draw at the time of the stoppage. Can't see JL up by 2 though.

 

I had it 6-3 for Loma, and I was being generous to Linares.

He was being deconstructed and embarrassed.

He knew he was trailing. What he didn't know was that, either through corruption or incompetence, the judges had it dead even going into the 10th.

If not for that liver shot, we were on our way to another Kov-Ward 1 or GGG-Canelo type of robbery.

 

I had it pretty close too. Don't listen to the commentary and just judge it for what it is.
