You should quote my Uncle Azumah Nelson’s resume always going into the other guys hometown to inflict pain like knocking out the great Wilfredo Gomez in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

I live in Melbourne. We don’t have any restrictions at the moment but experienced a long four month lockdown last year which was the strictest in the world.

Now it’s the other states which have fallen victim to the ‘rona’. We could hold a fight here but the Timezone difference wouldn’t be good for US viewers if we held the fight at night.

I still believe Kambosos can pull off an upset here and I’m looking forward to this one.

Doing it on a nice gloomy Sunday afternoon in Melbourne..like they did with Poppa Tszyu and Leija or Horn-Pac in Brisvegas.

The timezones suits us fine I reckon. I love arvo fights.

Obviously they'd have to go through the mandatory two weeks quarantine. Not sure they know that....or how strictly enforced it is. Couldn't be easy to have a title fight in an opponent's backyard of a preparation disturbance like that.

I mean you could set them up in nice isolated digs.

    Would cost a fortune though.

Triller are already operating at a loss with this fight. No point going into a no-guarantee situation into Australia and possibly cancelling the entire event due to very strict Covid protocols.

Just take the (financial) loss on the chin and chalk it upto experience.

You don't tell a champion where he is going to fight first of all.
2nd after the Pac vs Horn mess I don't blame him.
3rd You want the title come get it not we want you to bring the title to our backyard.

Might as well cause this fight ain't going to sell very well as a PPV in the state.

It would be hotel quarantine and there is no way of leaving early.

100%...in theory, maybe using the Cairns facility the Olympians are in...but I wouldn't want to be the bloke trying to pow wow with the state and federal governments about how, when and where that's all organised. Tough go, especially atm.

That's that then....just can't prep like that....not unless he was willing to spend two months after the quarantine in Oz prepping. They didn't give the Australian Open tennis stars any flexibility last summer in Melbourne....now its a worse strain (Delta) and they've set a tough standard, I can't see any wriggle room being given.
