    Im almost happy this is happening. Lopez was pretty smug about the payday he thought he was going to get for this, instead of giving Loma his rematch, that theres something pleasing about seeing it fall apart.

    Why? Not his doing. Fight gets canceled a few days before the scheduled date. Out of his control.

    Oh you mean his belt(s)...yeah I agree. He wouldn't go to Australia when it was suggested the fight take place there.
    Then he got COVID. Shoulda taken a rematch with Loma.

    I don't blame Lopez at all. This was entirely the fault of Triller and their idiotic decisions to keep postponing fights. If they had kept the original fight date of June 5th, this would have been all over. The only legit delay was the Covid 19 issue, all the other postponements were due to Triller's baffling unwillingness to go against other TV events or to schedule some stupid concert and slap fight on the card....like wtf are you doing in this business anyways if you can't make up your mind to be on TV or not?

    Kambosos and his team are idiots. All they had to was get on the plane and they'd get their unnecessarily high purse and title shot.

    The purse bid was ridiculous and they were always going to lose a millions staging the fight.

    The fighters have been screwed as its not there fault thriller committed to pay funds they couldn't guarantee.

    Man, it's sad but you're right. Lopez had so much momentum and the potential to become a huge star after the Loma win. But damn, all that talking about Loma not deserving a rematch was very unsettling.
