This is far fetched - but Money Mayweather chases the Money - so anything is possible in Boxing now-a-days.

Won't happen but you can always dream.......

I've always said the Tito who fought Vargas at 154 would HURT Floyd.

If and When Tito KOs Jones he needs to move down to 154 and challenge the **** out of 1 or 2 fighters. Cotto #1, and if his management don't bite then he goes on to Oscar #2. But can you imagine if either one of these fights comes off next year in Puerto Rico, or Madison Square Garden. :admin

Yeah - if it was to happen - it would be hugh.

It's always nice to dream though.

Dream? This 'dream' will quickly come a reality when Tito beats Jones.

You know... something about that fight doesnt intrigue me. I think its because i think mayweather outboxes tito so bad even if tito was prime... right now i think he wins almost every round. not really that interested.... id rather see tito vs cotto at 154.

This fight could end up being like Vargas/Mayorga. Meaning that it seems to initially serve no purpose or interest, but in the end could be a new beginning for both fighters. Mayorga's win now vaults him into being a credible opponent, most likely a good payday against Forrest. I see him as a good opponent for a guy like Andre Berto.
If Jones looks good, and shows us the old RJJ, then he catapults right back into the mix for Calzaghe, Pavlik etc. Maybe he could take revenge on Glenn Johnson again, especially after Johnson gets beat up by Chad Dawson.
RJJ honestly looked so disinterested when fighting Johnson, almost like he feel asleep (before the knockout!). Roy should beat Trinidad, easily. Trinidad has never been this heavy, has been out of boxing for along time, and has a lot of trouble with boxers (let's remember how DLH was giving him a boxing lesson). Cotto is the new Puerto Rican star.

Dawg - I'll be sure you find you after the fight.

Want to get your take on the fight afterwards and see what you think about Tito retiring again - after just one fight :tong

Tito can't go down to 154. He's gonna fight at 170 lbs!

:rofl no way! A prime Trinidad wouldnt beat PBF how the hell would this washed up bum do? He's gonna get KTFO'd by RJJ anyway so there is no point in going on with this

My predication: RJJ beats Trinidad then fights the winner of JC and Hopkins. JC probably takes hopkins then looses to a pumped RJJ.

Only issue here is timing. Can they get the JC/Hopkins fight soon so it could work with the RJJ/ Trinidad fight?

Richard said the Hopkins/Calzaghe fight should be all done by the end of the year. So we have something to look forward too.
