tito's vicious ko over Yory boy in the 4th rnd, having his head snap back over ropes. going into that fight a lot of expert pick campas to win the fight, his record at the time was 54-0-45 kos : oh by the way the referee was Richard "THE HESITANT" steele, who allowed yory boy to reseived unesesary amount of punches by tito::vonnecunt
yep. great fight. tito floored early as usual and roared back to have campas looking up at the ring lights, but like a trooper was still on his feet.
I think Titos defence in this fight was very good. He was slipping punches and catching alot of shots on his gloves. Great performance from a great fighter. I know that terms thrown around alot, but in this instance it's certainly warranted. I also like the way Tito nudges him slightly with his shoulder, to create a bit of distance to fire of his right uppercut, and left hooks to the body. Very good boxing brain.
This was the fight that made me WANT to box. It also made me the biggest Tito fan, even until this day, he is my favorite boxer.
Great fight this was a very exiting fight, and i was very nevous because was a close fight that could go either way.
Correction, Campas was 56-0 and considered by MANY in the boxing world and Mexico to be the next Chavez. I was lucky enough to be at the MGM that night in September 1994 and what a night it was....:good Acutally the people ate the MGM are still looking for Campas' teeth...:yep
that punch that campas kded tito with looked like sucha ***** punch but tito was properly hurt by it.
absolutely, just a "fighters" fighter........ I've always thought him and Erik Morales were made of the same cloth.
...which sometimes involves knowing when you need a breather. ïf the ref allows it it's only smart to milk it.
