Trinidad always had problems with movers who boxed. If Cotto is disciplined and fights how he's been fighting recently, with much more movement, I see a Cotto decision.
Trinidad struggles with Boxers who can go side to side. Cotto can go side to side, and he's technically competent so he wins a decision, something like 115 - 113. Close but clear.
Are ya'll ****ing kidding me. Whoever picks KNEEguel's punk azz over the loaded wraps of Cheatoe is a bonafide dip****.
Tito Trinidad would brutalize Cotto over 7-10 rounds. The only reason it would last that long would be because it would take that long for Cotto's stamina problems to arise and allow Tito to catch and ko his compatriot.
I think Cotto would win the first few rounds boxing Tito until after the 6 round. After that i see Tito catching him with some vicious left hooks and Cotto bleeding all over the canvas.. Tito with a late round TKO
Trinidad was a big light middleweight. Cotto is a rather small one. And despite Cotto moving side-to-side in a lot of his fights, he's far from being a great boxer in the mold of a Bernard Hopkins or an Oscar De La Hoya (both of whom had much better chins and defensive skill than Cotto does). I see no real way for Cotto to win this fight. He's overmatched against somebody who was one of the best composite power punchers I've ever seen - and somebody who had better stamina. Remember, loaded gloves or not, Margarito's size and pressure was getting to Cotto and he has no where near the speed, timing, or skill of Felix Trinidad.
because taking a knee in the 11th round against someone who is under the suspicion of having loaded wraps is something you can do everyday right? atsch get in the ring i have miguel losing late rounds although him winning a decision isnt impossible
