Like the Margarito fight, but worse for Cotto.

    Career ending beating for Cotton.

Trinidad's chunky punches would be landing all night.

Trinidad was a better boxer than Margarito. Cotto wouldn`t land as many punches on Tito but I do think he could last some rounds if he moves. Tito was accurate with his punches and though Cotto was a good fighter he didn`t have the tools to trouble Felix Trinidad.

Never hook with a hooker. Cotto is going to get stunned early during an exchange. I see Cotto then trying to box off the back foot for a few rounds but Felix will stalk and batter him for a mid rounds stoppage say 8th or 9th round.

Well looking at the vote I guess its' pretty unanimous.

For the record I also think Tito would win by late stoppage but I had this impression built up in my head that this would be a war for however long it lasted.

I think Cotto could knock Trinidad down early because of Tito's feet and lesser fighters have. Trinidad will get up though and he will unleash hell on Cotto. Stopping him in the 6th round.

Tito was a step above Miguel, different class fighter. Tito beats Cotto pretty convincely. Say a stoppage by 7th - 8th rd.

Cotto has definitely achieved greatness in his career.

He was on the verges of being the best WW in the world going into the Margo fight and after the pacman defeat most felt he was finished.

But then he moved up in weight to beat the best LMW out there (albeit one who was injured) and after another career ending defeat he moved up to beat the best MW out there (albeit one who was injured).

I think he gets a tough rep at times but he has consistently fought the best and despite it seeming his potential would be unrealised when he got stopped by Margo and Pac he still established himself as the best in two divisions.

Tito is on another level though. I don't care what people tell me about the Hoya fight, it was no robbery and could have gone to either man. When he stepped up he never faced the lineal LMW champ but like Golovkin today he managed to establish himself the number 1 in most eyes. He came up short to Hopkins and Winky but both were much bigger men. Cotto is not a bigger man and he is not a better man.

Trinidad is quicker and harder hitting plus he has a much superior jab. Cotto is better defensively and is a better combination puncher in my mind but both love to throw hooks and Tito will get off first.

I see this being fairly one sided tbh. Tito in 4.

I did. After he beat Santos given that Forrest had passed.

Not sure what your point is with the other two paragraphs.
