it terms of robberies it isnt in the same league as hollyfield vs lewis #1 or numerous oter fights i cant be bothered naming.
:nut  You're EASILY one of the worst posters on here bro. The guy ****ing RAN in the Championship rounds.. If that's what you like in your fighter:-( Biggest disgrace?atsch Perhaps you've never seen: Holyfield-Lewis I Burton-Emmanuel Augustus and countless others.
I scored this fight for Delahoya, but I am sick of talking about it. So I voted a draw and will say this. Neither man deserved a victory that night. Trinidad wasn't skilled enough to beat Oscar and Oscar didn't want it enough and didn't risk enough to beat Tito...so there was no winner that night. Similar to the Floyd / Oscar fight. Oscar was too old and inactive to do enough to beat Floyd and Floyd didn't want it enough and risk enough to beat Oscar so that fight also had no winner.
On Boxrec.com says Tito WON so Im going with that.....:yep BTW, most of the people who start threads about this fight are actually guys who just want to start **** ok.
You are the Queen of the Oscarsexuals and I'll never get sick of talking about that. :good Trinidad W12 DLH, 115-114, 6-5-1.
Next time you watch the fight have your client bend you over so your facing the t.v. This way you can actually see the punches landing threw his sweat and your tears running over your eyes :good
Oscar was tired and was seriously scared of getting Knocked the **** Out which is precisely why he ran so he deserves whatever he gets, and mayweather clearly beat him
LOL...I see where you are going with this THEWOO but c'mon man it was two different fights bro you know. The clash between Tito vs Oscar was dubbed as The Fight Of The Millenium where two great warriors were supposed to fight like warriors and keep the PR-Mex rivarly alive, instead Oscar threw 3-5 punches per round and a flurry of punches in the last 10 seconds of every round which most of the punches landed on glove. He expected the W because he is Oscar De La Hoya and Vegas was his town but it didnt turned out like that. Anyways I do agree with most people that Oscar did put on a great show but IMHO he simply didnt do enough to win. I would had rather had the fight be called a DRAW thus avoiding all these arguements thru the years.
Well I am glad you see where I am going with it. I just hate when people use a certain logic when arguing their point but discredit that same logic when it doesn't work in their favor. In one fight compubox numbers don't mean **** but in another they use it as a basis for their argument. For one fighter paper titles are meaningless but for another it adds to his greatness. If you are going to dead the argument at this fight at the official decision and not take into account the fact that the majority of people disagree with that official decision then you have to be willing to do the same in every fight. as far as the fight itself is concerned, I disagree with most of what you said. Oscar landed some meaningfull shots not just shots on the gloves. he was landing multiple jabs in succsesion and launching the right hand almost at will. There were some rounds in which he landed pitty pat shots but in those rounds Tito didn't land anything. Pitty pat shots outscore swinging for air any day in my book. I analuzed round 9 one time and watching carefully you see that Tito doesn't land his first shot until 2 minutes into the round. I thought oscar won this fight and was a victim of all the hate for him over the decisions vs Quartery and Whitikar.
Impressive. The next time I am ****ing a female Oscar fan, I am going to force her to watch Buffer read the 3rd scorecard, as I am reaching climax. Picture that in your head.
