I don't really see how you can have so many rounds close, but call it an "absolute boxing lesson" throughout 9. For instance, DLH gave Gonzalez a boxing lesson througout 9, as his rounds were clear. Hopkins gave Trinidad a boxing lesson. There were maybe 2 close rounds, the rest were clear Hopkins rounds. 4 of the first 9, you said could have gone for Trinidad.
In the first 9 rounds, Oscar has a case to win each and every round... Oscar had 5 rounds in the bank (IMO) Felix had 0 rounds in the bank (IMO) To me, versus one of the best P4P fighters at the time, that's a pure boxing lesson.
I only gave Trinidad rounds 11, and 12. On a generous day I can give Trinidad 4, 10, 11 and 12. People seem to have a hard time judging the fight because of Oscar's drop in activity in the latter rounds, but even then Tito still didn't do anything, and DLH still landed the better punches, except for round 11 and 12.
True. I originally gave Tito the last three rounds simply because DLH was running too much. The day before Margarito/Cotto I dusted off the vhs tape and watched the fight again. I scored it the same except for the 10th, even though Oscar was running too much for my taste he was clearly outboxing Tito and Trinidad did nothing to earn that round!
