    Yes well, you are also fanning it aren't you? Claiming PBF doesn't sell when it's quite the opposite?

    Both fighters sell and need to fight. Both sides should accept that. But whatever, ya'll keep fighting.

    Good for Roy and Tito I guess both got the big payday they both wanted.

    As I understand it RJJ had no purse guarantee so his salary was purely dependent on how well the PPV sales went. Apparently if it broke the 500,000 buy mark Roy would have won the gamble and made out very well so at least $8 million possibly more. Had the sales flopped it was entirely possible that Roy went home with a measly $2 million so he took a chance and was rewarded handsomely in the end.

    I guess that explains why he actually tried to promote this fight.

    Yeah, Jones doesn't usually bother with the promotional side of fights as his past history will show especially when his purses were guaranteed. I'm curious if the huge $8 million site fee paid to Don King was recovered through the live gate or if they took a loss because the ticket prices were unusually high.

    wow. that was seriously a lot of buys. i think this will encourage old semi-retired fighters to get in the ring one more time
