Mosley from the DLH fight against Triandad, would've Tito had a chance against Mosley? IMO Mosley had a iron and would've beat Tito to the punch in the inside with his shorter faster hands and good defensive, I see Tito going going down at least once early in the fight but wouldve also had his momentos, Mosley 8 rounds to 4 rounds to Tito, How do you guys see it?

I think Trinidad would grind him down with that constant pressure. @147 Felix Trinidad had wrecking balls in his gloves and brought it for 12 rounds if necessary. He was able to carry his power into the later rounds.
Mosley had quick hands, and snappy power. I don't think he was elusive enough to beat Tito. Shane liked to brawl a bit too much.
I think Trinidad stops him late on accumulation or maybe it goes the distance. There would be some knockdowns in there.
    7-4-1 Trinidad.

This fight has ways been as clear as day in my minds eye.

    Mosley by stoppage.

Tito is going to try beating Mosley down on the front foot and he doesn't have the speed, power or durability to do the job.

All he will do is reduce the range allowing Mosley to get his combinations off. And once the two are exchanging there's only one winner and that is Sugar Shane.

I've played it through many times and I never see Tito hurting Mosley and forcing him into his skittish back foot jab.

Tito doesn't have the power? Have you not watched this boxer before?

It is a distance bout all the way and DKP will have their moneymaker have his hand raised at the end. Mosely needs to win 9 or 10 rounds clearly for a draw. Trinidad is far too good of an opponent for that to happen.

    Trinidad has never been KO’ed.

In the Hopkins fight his father stopped it while he was still on his feet. Yes he was taking a beating but he was not on the mat. I don’t see Mosley KOing Trinidad.

I also don’t see Mosley standing and exchanging. I see him moving away trying to get space and perhaps jumping with a hard shot.

Trinidad is taller and has a longer reach. He is not as faster but he unquestionably hits harder and his timing is just as good.

Felix has been in with hard puncher (Campas) and anytime anyone has tried to swap with him he finished them. I think that Shane does not do well with after feeling one of Trinidad hooks or right hands...in the same way he couldn’t deal with Vernon Forrest.

It plays out as a clear but close win on the cards for Trinidad because Shane has to move away and Trinidad hunts him around the ring throwing with more conviction and landing the hard more telling shots.

Trinidad wins. Mosley wasn’t a box and move type and lacked ring smarts and also if hurt he tended to go into a shell at not pull the trigger. All of this points to a Tito win on points. I can see Mosley ahead after 4-5 but Tito turning things his way and then winning a clear but 8-4 type decision. Maybe even by KO if the drug testing is legit. Mosley’s prime it wasn’t.

I think Mosley’s speed advantage gives him a really good chance. One thing that did cross my mind that @ChrisJS rightly pointed out, is that Mosley did go into his shell when he was hurt sometimes, so provided he can avoid Tito’s best shots early on, I think he can put enough rounds in the bank in the first half to get a decision.

Watch more Trinidad. There's good reason DLH boxed and moved and ran for the last 3 rounds.

If Forrest puts you on ***** street Trinidad would

Is Trinidad going to be leading with his head?

The clash of heads didn't put Mosley out on his feet. A poleaxe of a right hand landing on the button several times did

I can’t decide....I’m tempted to say Trinidad....but then I think about Kid Gavilan ...who could out brawl guys by simply beating them to the punch
