That's silly. Even Tito would beat Oscar in that state considering Oscar was old and shot to hell. Tito, in his prime, had a punch to turn Pac's whole world upside down, much like prime Oscar did.

It shows you the style Pacquiao would use against Tito , and Tito has always looked horrible against movement. Hoya outboxed him all night just by moving and throwing sporadic combinations. Pacquiao could turn him and box him all night. He doesn't need to slug with him. Tito was a good fighter but very one-dimensional. He loved his left hook to much, and hes flat footed. He looked confused when you gave him movement and boxed him. Manny is better in just about every category minus size / power.

 

It's pointless to try and take anything away from that footage. A prime Tito Trinidad is a completely different assignment to that version of Hoya. Light and day.

 

Tito takes Pacquiao out.

 

What you can take awy from that footage is that Pacquiaio does not need to slug with Tito ,he can box. And he has a lot more tools at his disposal then Tito does. All Tito has is a left hook and occasional right hand. He's very flat footed and if you move / turn him he'll follow you all night and walk into punches. case closed.

 

He couldnt even knock Tito down like lesser fighters had done before, he avoided at all cost taking any risks and standing in front of him, he ran a marathon that night the momment he felt Tito's power, but this is about pacquiao and my point is that pac is no boxing wizard, he is a raw offensive fighter and Trinidad always had success with that type of fighter. Tito has the height and reach, stamina and great timing and accuracy. Pac has the speed and angles but has to come inside to land anything...it def would have been interesting to see how it would unfold down the stretch.

 

Pacquiao wins this. When Trinidad's chance is only a lucky hay maker, you got to go with Pacquiao. Trinidad is too limited.

 

That is a terribly simplistic look at Tito. If that was all Tito had, he would not have the success he's had. He had a very good jab and attacked the body better then most people Pac has faced.

 

This. Doesn't matter who wins between the two of them, because the fight itself would be the real prize for the public.

 

what a fight!...Tito on his prime at 147 was hard to beat...DLH went on reverse after 7 rds and didnt want to trade anything with Tito...but Pac is speed monster with power.

Pac wouldn't fight him, nor prime DLH, Pac would stay at 140, or simply away from welter. Imagone how things would've turned out if Pac was moving up back in 99, would he make the move to 147 and fight a prime DLH? I doubt it.

 

These. Tito wasn't perfect but he had hella' firepower and could chop that ring off pretty decently.

He's a bit of a slow starter and there is your chance to get him, that being said he will come and find you later on as the punishment mounts and then its game over.

There is not one fighter today at 147 who can beat Tito, or even survive the twelve.

 

1-2 combos, I give you that! But the only place you saw 4-5 combos was on your ****ing dreams. Oscar never stood the in front of Tito for more than 2 punches thrown by him, so get the **** out of here with that.

Pac leaves himself open when he thinks he has momentum. Sure Pac could possibly outbox him as has great footspeed and has had to fight like that with some opponents. BUT he leaves himself open and would get hit. I am sure Freddy would not allow him to trade, that would be completely ******ed. But tito can be easily outboxed, but can Pac keep on doing it? Eventually he going to leave himself open. Tito has showed he is more dangerous when he gets hurt/ and he recovers fast. No one can tank those left hooks, especially not someone who is pacs natural size. Mayorga tried and got rocked. I highly doubt pac could keep up a boxing clinic on tito for a whole fight. he going to leave himself open at some point, well at many different points. this is not margo we are talking about.
