Tito Beats them , the exception may be Margo due to his chin and high work rate. It depends on weather he can keep Tito busy enough on defense, which he may be able too.

TKO or UD v Clottey (Clottry has good defense and counterpunching, but not enough. not in the league of Winky or Hops')

KO or TKO over Cotto (Cotto's chin will fail)

TKO or UD over Stretch (Williams range may give Tito Prob's early on, but I haven't seen the other attributes he would need ie: punching power, defense, some others. To be able to keep tito off enough for 12 rd's w/o taking more damage.

V Margo Think Tito can win where Cotto couldn't (better chin and maybe better ability to dictate terms of engagement. Still margo is the only one with a real chance.

TKO or KO over Quintana, There just not in the same class

Not that it matters in head to head, but look at who Tito lost too in his carreer, and at what point. Oscar was questionable, but at his peak most likely, and 2 real good middleweights when past his prime weight and arguably prime.

Name me the last fighter that Wright stopped period. Taylor is the only guy I can think of that he even did any facial damage to. Meanwhile, Corrales had a broken jaw, Zab's eye and nose were busted up, and Margo's face was bruised and swollen after he fought Clottey.

 

Why is Winky Wright and Joshua Clottey even being compared in this discussion over Felix Trinidad? This is ****ing absurd. Trinidad was way out of his element at that ridiculously sad weight and poor looking physical appearance when he fought Wrinky AFTER a long retirement (he'd never beat winky at that time/weight). If Tito ever had a SLIM/TINY chance in hell against Winky Wright's style it would have been at 147lbs around the same time Fernando Vargas fought Wright meaning Wright would be 15+ lbs lighter and he'd be facing a prime Trinidad and he'd have to get KO'd to lose.

1st. Is Clottey a defensive fighter? No. He does turtle up but what kills him is that he fights in spurts. Does he have a consistent turtle/ 1 + 2 style that winky has? NO he ****ing doesn't. Joshua Clottey walked down a Zab Judah but ran into a brick wall against Marg who has crap defense but amazing stamina/chin and was clearly beaten.

2nd. Does Clottey have the same chin that Winky has? No I don't think so.

3rd. Winky and Clottey are 2 very distinct fighters and the difference in effectiveness to which they execute their game is large

Felix Trinidad would ****ing thrash this FRONT RUNNER by the end of the fight. Look at what Margarito did winning the last rounds on Clottey, broken hand or not, Clottey was exhausted as **** and Margarito wasn't. Would Trinidad be Tired in the 12th round of a fight with Clottey???? What is Clottey going to do knock Trinidad out? wtf no. On a scale of 0-10 the concussive punching power of Margarito at 147lbs is like a 7 at best? The Concussive power of Trinidad at 147lbs was like a 9.99 out of 10, so please...Unless Clottey cleans out 147lbs and beats some quality guys in a couple of other divisions then I'll start considering this match up. But right now? To say that he can beat Trinidad simply off a style match up that is being so ****ing hardcore blown out of proportion is ridiculous.

 

Agreed. Clottey is extremely overrated, and Tito would have thrashed him.
