Reid was 14-0. And although Tito went up in weight, he was clearly bigger than Reid. Again, Clottey has faced big punchers and wasn't even phased. If he had **** defene, you would have a point. However, he doesn't. I can't see a guy with a damn good chin and a solid defense getting stopped by a guy his size. If Tito was knocking out guys with good chins and solid defense, I would agree. However, the guys he was stopping had a suspect d/and or a suspect chin.
I remember the fight. It was on ESPN and Clottey was a late replacemetn. I just don't remember him getting hurt. I could be wrong though.
Taylor and Hopkins, two big strong middleweights couldn't even knock out joppy when he was way past it. trinidad annilated him.
Style makes fight bro. Joppy wasn't a sharp shooter to keep Tito in check. Bhop is but lack power due to his age and was still able to ko tito. CLottey is a very accurate and strong hitter with faster hand speed then bhop and have a winky wright like defense which makes him a dangerous counter puncher. Clottey vs Tito will look very similar to Tito vs Wright.
Look at Titos opponents record before they lost to him........ David Reid 14-0,YoriBoy 56-0,ODH 31-0,W.joppey 32-1,Sweet pea 40-2,Larry Barnes 39-1,Oba Carr 32-0,Vargas 20-0....LOL,i mean come on people that speaks for itself, He k.od 78% of his foes!!!
yup that's it. Yeah he was doubled over from body shots 2-3 times. later , i believe on B o x i n g t a l k he spoke about how his body hurt for 3 weeks.
