This is what I'm trying to share with you. I feel your arguement, Clottey is a beast he is no walk in the park for Tito but to answer your question Thiam is built in the same mold as Clottey. Thiam was gassed against Morade Hakker very early in his career. You remember Hakker from the track meet with B-hop? that guy can't punch a lick. Mamadou was eating straight bombs from Tito and going no where. But ones body or face can only take so much damage from a puncher like Tito without bearing the toll. After the Rask fight he was done, not the same fighter nor the same dedication. But Clottey never had the power Dou-dou had all 33 wins by Ko when he fought tito out of 42 wins 39 by KO and he was a JR middle.

Everyone would pick a prime Oscar over the current clottey.

Fighting a guy who will stand right in front of him, who can be knocked down - and has on numerous occasions, and has been stopped late? I disagree.

Trinidad vs Clottey - Trinidad SD
Trinidad vs Cotto - Trinidad KO
Trinidad vs Williams - Trinidad TKO
    Trinidad vs Margarito - Draw
Trinidad vs Quintana - Trinidad KO
Trinidad vs Berto - Trinidad KO

    And Sweet Pea, don't bother.

Funny I just read San Rafael's predictions and they look alot like my own.

I can definitely see margarito dropping trinidad early when he's vulnerable most. Though i just don't see too many people standing infront of trinidad without a great defense, taking punches, slower and lasting the distance.

Well, Margarito has made a career out of proving people wrong about his chin. Alot of people thought Cintron would knock him out. Alot of people thought Santos would knock him out. Alot of people thought Cotto would knock him out.

Yet all we saw that whole time was Santos rocking him with a shot high on the temple. And that lasted a whole 3 seconds. Extraordinary doesn't do it justice.

I for one do not doubt that Margarito would take Tito's best shot. Providing his handwraps are done properly. Maybe with the illegal handwraps he gets a knockout. Not without though.

You know me AD, I'm not at all a Margarito fan, but I have to keep defending the guy in arguments for the sake of integrity and reality. The Margarito haters and Margarito doubters still don't get it. The experts in Puerto Rico were getting ready to declare Cotto the greatest Welterweight of all time if he beat Margarito. Literally, a panel of experts had already made that statement. People still don't get it with Margarito, he's a pure force. He didn't even lose to Williams, he nicked that fight clearly. Bull**** activity doesn't win fights, scoring wins fights. Margarito hasn't truly lost since he was a teenager, and even then the playing field was slanted. That's reality.

I can understand how you feel, but I wouldn't doubt Margarito's durability at this point. It's insane.

Is this is a TITO wont die thread?

We all saw what Winky did to TITO how is it a stretch that Clottey wouldnt?

Comparing Clottey to thiam lol and Campas to Margs lol

Campas put no pressure on people he didnt throw the volume of punches and sure as hell didnt have a chin like Margs

Comparing Clottey to Quartay and Winky is more realistic

    TITO fans lol

Santos wobbled Margarito with a temple shot, idiot. Trinidad is a bigger hitter than Cotto, but Margarito isn't kissing the canvass regardless. Trinidad is the one with questionable punch resistance, not Margarito. After a few 10-8 rounds Margarito would have enough points to win a decision. Trinidad would stop throwing and get discouraged after he realized Margarito could take his best punches. Margarito might even stop him with an accumulation of damage to the body and head. **** the hype, this is boxing.

TITO was rocked by a guy with only 14 fights you want to go tit for tat?

And Santos is much bigger than anyone TITO fought under MW
