Who wins this fantastic hypothetical match up? The right hand from Hopkins seemed to close the deal against Trinidad, how would he do versus a right hand from hell?? (From tommy.) Equally Trinidad was a chin checker, yes I said it a chinchecker. When he hit, he knocked fools out, also looked sensational in wins before the Hopkins spectacle! Who wins this bout? Discuss:

Hearns by KO Trinidad was put down on the seat of his pants numerous times, and hurt numerous times by much lesser fighters than Hearns.

Yes Hearns's chin wasn't his best asset either, but i don't think he was hurt or floored as many times as Trinidad was overall.

I know i'm sounding like hypocrite because Hearns has more stoppage losses, but the 1st one against Leonard was more fatigue and being worn down, plus Leonard is an ATG and leagues above Trinidad. Hagler another ATG who's leagues above Trinidad fought Hearns in a savage war, and took punches Trinidad wouldn't have. And even Barkley took a beating, and took punches Trinidad probably wouldn't have taken.

Overall i just think Hearns is much more skillful fighter than Trinidad, Hearns also has a fairly big reach advantage 78 inches to 72 inches for Trinidad, his jab and right hand would be too much for Tito at range.

Both men's chins were suspect but Trinidad was hurt alot more by lesser fighters as i said, and whilst it is possible that Trinidad could catch Hearns and stop him my money would be on Hearns all day every day.

Trinidad isn't as skillful as Leonard to get the job done, and he isn't as durable as Hagler or Barkley to walkthrough Hearns's punches.

Hearns is a nightmare for every boxer up to 147lbs in boxing history, and other than the two Sugar Rays there are few I would favor against Hearns. But not Trinidad.

Hearns might not have the best chin imaginable but people sometimes act like all it takes is to tag Hearns once or twice and he would be knocked out. Hearns has eaten many bombs in his career and just kept fighting without going down or being slowed down. He also did fight monsters like SRL and Hagler.

Trinidad got knocked out himself against Hopkins. That Hopkins right hand that finished him off looked a lot like a Sugar Ray Robinson right hand thrown short from mid range.

Ofcourse Hearns has that crazy scary right hand. But he has many other punches in his arsenal. Also he has more range then Hopkins. For all his KO glory Hearns was also a truly elite boxer.

Trinidad was outboxed by Hopkins before being knocked out. He was also outboxed by De La Hoya but De La Hoya did throw that fight. Hearns belongs on the same level as Hopkins and De La Hoya when it comes to boxing skills.

Long story short Hearns wins by KO.

Hearns KO, I don't think Tito would find him and was not fast of hand or foot.

Hearns by ko (not tko but ktfo).

This is one of the few nightmare matchups for Tito.

I think Hearns is probably a nightmare matchup for nearly everyone at WW. He was a nightmare for Leonard TBH (and Leonard somehow won)

If Tito hears the bell for round 7 I believe he takes Hearns out, of course getting there will be tough.
    It's either Hearns early,
    or Tito late.
Hearns is the way to bet.

I'd favour Hearns by KO, whilst giving Trinidad a live punchers chance.
