Mayorga didn't win the rematch, and they shouldn't have even stopped the first fight. Forrest was a product of HBO thinking they had a crowd pleasing moneymaker in Mayorga until they found out he couldn't box a lick...

You could say the same about Mayweather, Mosley, de la Hoya and most other welterweights throughout history.

It's almost inconceivable to think that Manny Pacquiao would have taken those left hooks and lead right hands well. It's true, he has shocked us the world over, but Tito is a far cry from the Joshua Clottey's and Miguel Cotto's. Not that it should matter, this thread is about Trinidad, who was a spectacular performer before his humiliating defeat at the hands of Bernard Hopkins. It's his accuracy and punching power that's most impressive when I watch him.

if anyone stood toe-toe with trinidad he would dismantle them.

if anyone boxed tito then they would win easily.

if cotto, margarito or pac fought tito they wouldn't make it 12 rounds.

At WW, an in-shape Tito was invincible and his welterweight resume blows Pac's away.

A prime DLH: This version of Dlh would have schooled Pac

Whitaker: ATG, this win alone is better than any single win in Pac's career

Camacho: A man that was arguably faster and much slicker than Pacquiao and a man who defeated a top 5 ATG. BTW I have a prime Camacho getting a split decision over Pac.

Campas: The guy was 56-0 When Tito beat him. I'll rank this at around the same as I rank Pac's win over Hatton.

Tito only lost when he fought at way overblown weights. It would be like putting Pac in with Pavlik.

Really the only way overblown weight that Tito lost at was against RJJ and that was at the very end of his career when he was shot to ****. He filled out 160 pretty nicely. The way to beat Tito wasn't to be bigger than him or outfight or outmuscle him, it was to employ a perfect defense and avoid getting hit. Manny would get smashed into a million pieces.
