Trinidad will retire...after one more fight!

    Just heard on the radio that Trinidad plans to retire in 09 after one last fight. No opponents named yet but its pretty certain the fight will take place at the square. Thoughts?

    My thought is that this is just a money grab.

    I wonder who it'll be. My guess is it'll be somebody at 168.

    Tito was beaten fairly handily by a shot to **** Roy.That puts it into context

    Can't see him going down to 160 tbh although I'd like to see the ODLH fight.Two shot fighters,would be interesting.Can't see Oscar fighting at 168 either though

    I think Trinidad fought at 170 to accomodate Roy than himself...he can make 160.

    Oscar would be in much better shape than his last disgrace of a fight. And we'll see to grandpa ATG's go at it to determine who's fell further from the tree

    As stated above,did he not say he wouldn't go below 168?No doubt he could if he wanted to.Sad really,no question the Tito/Roy fight was all about the $$ for Tito

    I don't know...it was a guess based on what made the most sense...

    Other than Oscar or Hopkins I really don't see a fight that makes sense...

    Not sure..I mean I would love for Tito to go back down to 160..I think he could dominate there...but he himself said he wont go below 168...
