sanchez may be a good trainer but he does talk too much and would be best served to keep quiet, almost like Joe gallagher in a way

iv no real problem at all with ward or any fighter, but to accuse someone of doing something that you have done you're whole career (avoid athletic fighters) shows ward is either thick, or ignorant

Ward didn't fight froch in oakland....not fighting kova there

Who cares if he doesn't travel to foreign countries ....if he doesn't have to? Is he not getting the big fights made? If he weren't then maybe someone would have a legit gripe.....but why would he leave if he doesn't have to?

So what if dirrell is at 168 and a shell of the guy he was in super 6 ? Has Golovkin not tried to make 168 fights and not mentioned other guys names from that division? Even this current dirrell is better han anyone ggg has fought ....he just poses too much of a threat for golovkin to consider....he might make golovkin look ordinary and that's why he'd never be in their radar

Financially? Yes. Talent wise? Perhaps not. The money Stateside is what allows American fighters to be such hypocrites when judging boxers from elsewhere. It's the one thing Wilder can be commended for, the guy does own a passport and seems to be willing to use it.

And Wlad proved there's plenty of money in Germany. And fraud that he was so did Felix Sturm to a certain extent.

Oh and there's a guy called Anthony Joshua currently coining it in over in the UK. You've probably heard of him but if you haven't, don't worry you will very soon.

too be fair the UK is coming on leaps and bounds and consistently fighters are earning big money. Joshua made 6-7 million dollars for a british title fight, ggg earned a hell of a lot against brook, the thread continues.

boxing is marketed to the public properly over here and it makes a big difference

Because you get decisions like this when you leave the U.S., pure European robberies since Chris Columbus.

Wlad has fought here, Loma, GG, and Kov. The best Europe has to offer right now. The top guys in the division were here in America when those guys came here to fight. Wlad had ever right to take the title home and keep it there. Guys here who are big Povetkin fans criticize Ward for not leaving America to fight. That's hypocrisy.

Nope. No one rates Dirrell anymore so he wouldn't get any credit from his detractors for beating this version of him. If he goes up to SMW he needs to fight the division champs. Jack, Degale and Zurdo.

And he fought Froch in AMERICA. Where he's from. He's fighting Kovalev in AMERICA. Where he's from. That's clearly an advantage for him. If it wasn't he wouldn't fight tooth and nail for it negotiations despite not being a draw in his home country. I understand why he does it, I just think it's funny that he gets given a pass for it whilst other fighters are labelled stay at home guys when they've got far more reason to than Ward. The guy then complains about other people getting passes.

Dirrell is still better than anyone on ggg's resume ....he lost a tight one to degale ....it would be a great test for golovkin ....since when is golovkin worried about not getting any credit ? He's fought dom wade and a welterweight ....I don't think he's too worried about receiving credit from boxing fans lol

I don think ward had to fight tooth and nail to get kovalev to Las Vegas lol....I'm sure it was fairly easy.....for arguments sake if ggg were actually interested in fighting ward do u think ward would have to fight to get that one in the states or do u think ggg would prefer Monaco ? Lol

The robberies are historic and the olympics is a large example of how the world loves to rob the U.S. at any chance they get.

Mandos are mandos and the Brook fight was a last minute cash grab. One that I went on record as saying was a ****, pointless fight from a fans perspective. I've got respect for Dirrell but we both know if Golovkin beat him you'd say he was finished, damaged by the Abraham fight and with multiple losses on his record. He may as well move up and fight Degale straight away if he goes to 168.

Ward tried to get the Kovalev fight in Oakland but everyone else involved told him how ridiculous that was. I'd imagine Golovkin like every fighter that fights Stateside would want the fight in Vegas for a number of reasons. Madison Square Garden seems to be another favourite of his but Vegas is where people want to go when serious money is on the table.
