He smashed on Marty, who was robbed of a victory against Sergio. And no one believes Cotto has a shot at beating Triple G.

He is just too good murray punch resistance was known before the fight as one of the best in mw murray is a huge mw never knocked down before and golovkin put him down and stopped him

any guys coming up to mw like canelo and lara have no chance in hell in taking a punch from golovkin

fully fledged MW can not even take his power golovkin hurts heavyweights in sparring

    No doubt about it.

No boxer could enter the ring with him at 160 and win. All you hear is people at least a weight class above him to be given a chence to beat him. Wich is really the biggest compliment.

Yep. Can't see anyone beating him at 160

Still looking forward to him fighting Lee though

Yes, but the 160 division is pretty weak at the moment. Cotto is very good but probably just too small to be able to beat GGG. Murray is probably the best/ toughest fight for GGG at 160 but GGG beat him with ease. It is now just a choice for GGG of whether he should clean up at 160 or test himself at 168. I would like to see him move up.

Pretty surreal seeing the much bigger guy being relentlessly stalked down

I think he should establish himself at middle

Become a dominant unified champ and then move up

I'm worried that hes undersized for the division

Still think he'll do well there though

My problem with that is that he is 32, if he sticks at MW, he will likely be past prime when he moves up eventually. Ward vs GGG would be great if it hppens within the next year or 2.

Very very few believe Cotto can beat GGG. But nonetheless, GGG is not the lineal champ; Cotto is.

actually you got a point

His true tests lie at 168 and he might fall out of his prime soon

If he beats Cotto everyone will just talk about how Cotto "has no business at MW" and how the "true test" will be Ward or some other SMW/LHW/HW/SUPERDUPERHW guy.

That said, I'd love to see him fight Cotto and unify the titles.

You proved yet again you don't know this

cotto would be his easiest fight cotto is too small ggg would wreck yes cotto has better name maybe but in terms of competition in the ring it would be so easy golovkin would wreck him

cotto would get knocked out by murray simply because of the size...........lee,quillin,stevens,david all knock cotto out
