Hear me out. I'm not talking about how they fight, what they look like or anything like that. What I'm talking about is how they prepare, how they handle pre-fight conferences, how they walk into the ring, how they handle the actual fight, post interview and post presser. These 2 dudes in that sense are identical. I'd love to be able to get a pulse reading on either of these guys during a huge melee in the ring. These 2 dudes are the most unfazed fighters I think I've ever seen. When they both officially retire, they should become professional poker players. IDK if I can think of another boxer in history as unreadable or unshakeable as these 2 guys.
Yeah, I see that actually. Both can be quite goofy in interviews (Usyk's "I am very feel" and GGG's "Big drama show") but both can also be very cold and intimidating too (GGG's ominous comments about wanting to punish Lemieux and make him "respect boxing" and Usyk's "Don't be afriad, I won't leave you alone"). Both are ATGs and top 10 fighters in glamour divisions (bite me), though Usyk obviously is more accomplished with a better resume.
Usyk is much better and way more ambitious The 168 division was way more stacked than 160. Do you guys think Usyk would have hung around fighting geale, Murray etc rather than going after the super 6 at 168? GGG is a great fighter, but imo he is not a true ATG, not at usyks level anyway
