He's a small 160 by current standards as is, if he were a normal guy he would have started at 147 or even 140 and then moved to 160 later on. Regarding the matchmaking, there were certainly a lot of missed opportunities.

Rematch comes and is closer - Gennady thinks he got jobbed. Now he's jaded, getting old and only looking for big money fights. That is really the jist of it. His prime was wasted for years in Germany, then he paired up with Sanchez who is a terrible trainer at the top level. A shame really, since GGG had all the tools to dominate the Boxing world, maybe even be an ATG Middle, but it was wasted.
