    Another GGGoon excuse.

Not everyone is the WBA world titlist like Jacobs. Ggg needs a credible opponent ffs. Stop being so GGGreedy!

GTFO, it's a financial duck to demand 40%. Nothing other than financial duck. Jacobs knew what he was doing, coward.

I don't blame GGG that much and I don't fault Jacobs at all. My frustration is with the WBA. They are the ones who complicated the negotiations with awarding Jacobs a belt and calling and recognizing him as a champion until it is time to get paid like a champion, then he is the number one contender. The man should get paid more than 10% period and not less than 30%. GGG is playing the hand he was dealt but if he is truly interested in building his legacy along with his bank account then he should put some meat on that bone he trying give Jacobs because the same people you meet going up, you meet coming down and he might need a rematch with Jacobs.

GGGreedy's resume is kind of pathetic for a 35 year, 6 year champion.

GGGreedy could totally afford to pay Jacobs 40%. Jacobs is after the WBA world champion. He's not you're average Golovkin bum like Wade or Monroe.

It's easy to spout economic altruism, telling people how they should handle their money but if any of you were in Golovkin's position you would not give in to demands such as this.

    You are agenda laden hypocrites!

Many fighters in the past have and DO!

For example Saul Canelo Alvarez despite having in his own turf, and despite being the bigger attraction conceded to ALL of Miguel Cotto's demands and took considerably less money and at Cotto's requested weight. He also took on Erislandy Lara against the advise of his promoter.

Golovkin on the other hand, doesn't want to pay the WBA MW titlist more than 25% to get him in the ring. SO instead he'll probably continue his assault on prospects, has beens, journeymen, welter weights and bums.

I am sure if Jacobs was WBA Super champion he would give an extra 15% to all his mandatories.

If you believe that, then there is no hope for any of you.

C'mon man. That paper trinket he has round his waist means about as much as those cardboard crowns you get at Burger King.

Ggg's resume is kind of pathetic. He's going to pass up the opportunity to further enhance his legacy and credibility over 15%?

Regardless what you think of the WBA, Golovkin makes it very difficult on himself. At this rate Golovkin will be forgotten in the history books.. Not one marquee win, not ONE.

The WBA consider Jacobs - a man professing how keen he was to make this fight right up until it was possible to do so - a mandatory contender hence the reasoning behind the mandated 75/25 split.

I also disagree that the Jacobs fight is particularly legacy enhancing in comparison to his other admittedly less than stellar previous opposition. That's just my take. Legacy wise how much would be gained in beating a previously knocked out cancer survivor - for that's how he'd be described post fight - who had to essentially be bribed into taking the fight? What's his biggest win? Quillin? A guy who ducked Korobov and has no notable wins of his own? Please.

The only thing I know for sure is that if the positions were switched, I would say the same thing. It's not about who the fighters are but the rather the awkward positions they are put in by these governing bodies.
