    Jacobs is no Ggg...

Ggg wants to be a super star, at least he tries to act as one, but he doesn't have the resume of a star. He's fame comes from KO bums and HBO hype.

Canelo took considerably less against a riskier opponent.. Golovkin doesn't want to afford to pay Jacobs 15% despite the very low risk and decent reward.

Ggg's career while good, has been hindered considerably based on his and his teams decisions.

If you were WBA Supechamp would you give 15% more to your mandatories? It would be unprecedented because no one has done it yet but so many feel GGG is somehow obliged to do so.

If I was Golovkin, and was already a millionaire, and had a resume that at the very best would only get me into the BHOF, damn straight I would have the business sense to invest 15% into a fight to increase my credibility, marketability, and negotiating power.

I doubt you actually would. Others people's money is much easier to use/spend. Even if you did then all you would accomplish is setting an alarming precedent for future instances. The next time an opponent will demand 45% then 50%, opening the door to more impedements and obstacles in an already circumspect sport.

I do get your reasoning but you are being short sighted here.

LOL.. Shortsighted? now you're just being a funny troll..

Canelo taking a very small piece of the pie against Mayweather and Cotto, and Canelo taking a high risk-low reward fight is having forsight..

Ggg not willing to invest (compromise weight/pay) proves he is very SHORTSIGHTED.
He seems to want to be a super star, but he seems to no be willing to pay the same price all the other super stars have paid to be where they are at.
