Triple GGGreedy wont accept 60/40 split in his favor for Jacobs bout SMH

It was on the seen that Jacobs team wanted 60-40. GGGs team asked for a purse bid instead but WBA denied it and extended the negotiation period.

 

I think alot of people are just jumping to conclusions based on who they favor. Lets see what happens and who pulls out. Then bring out the pitch forks. Hopefully people are objective about it but I doubt it.

 

I know bro, I meant the part where the hater said " wont accept 60 40" . Cuz I think promoter has no say in that. Only WBA decides who gets what split, and if u dont like it, then vacate.

 

He is trying to say that Jacobs wants 60-40 in favor of GGG but GGGs team won't accept it. They are currently in negotiations and Jacobs is asking for a bigger split which he can. GGGs team is being smart by asking for a purse bid instead where they get more money. Jacobs has nothing to offer at that the negotiation table to warrant a bigger percentage anyway. He is a glorified #1 contender who thinks he is the WBA Champion.

If it goes to purse bid the rules are set as far as split goes but either promoter can ask for a percentage change before then. It is rare that the sanctioning body changes the split unless the fighter getting the lesser percentage is a huge draw which Jacobs is not.
