I hope someone does something. Whenever there is a lag in current boxing , people begin to obsess over Floyd Mayweather instead of learning about new guys. I say that because I'm starting to obsess over UFC and Dominic Cruz is fighting Cody Garbrant and Garbrant came outta nowhere. He is the American bantamweight version of McGregor and he's got the look to sell. I just learned about this guy over the Christmas break and if he beats Cruz he is an instant star. See how it used to work in boxing was similar. Cruz beat everyone in team Alpha Male and Cody wants revenge. Great story line, both guys are prime, new face on the rise. Boxing does not have this because it is obsessed with a strip club owner.

I think Golovkin will stop Jacobs comfortably, but Canelo will knock him out and he's going to prove a lot of people wrong.

Golovkin will knock El Pollo out, no doubt about it. Golovkin will knock Jacobs out also, but Jacobs will be a tougher fight, however, Golovkin will use defense as long as he needs it.................

 

He can fight nice and safe when he wants to, as against Lemieux. Because he respected Lemieux's power. But if he doesn't respect your power, he is a relentless come forward predator throwing with bad intentions. Why be so blind to the obvious?

 

Nah. The odds are in GGG's favor that he blasts out both Jacobs and Canelo and he does so brutally. So the beat goes on OP At least for another 4-5 years honestly

 

I know GGG is 35, but I believe he stops both of them brutally, even at this stage of his career.

 

I like Jacobs but he's getting hurt. I applaud him taking that paycheck knowing it comes with a loss.

Canelo? He deserves the beatdown he will surely receive from GGG. I wanna see him get hurt with the first flush shot GGG lands. Then an embarrassing knockdown. But he's a "warrior" and gets up, lands a few shots of his own only to get viciously KO'd.

The dude and his handlers are all clowns. His ego is too big and the second he enters the ring with GGG standing in front of him, he will know he bit off more than he can chew.

yeah GGG didn't even try to get out of the way and was hit with shots that didn't even wobble him. He gave drama show like he promised and didnt respect the power of many of his top ranked opponents. I can t wait to see him chop canelo down. I like Canelo to a small extent, but GGG moves far better than Canelo has ever shown.

 

I still believe El Chicano isn't even Mexican and is just trying to make Mexican fans look bad. He even once boasted about Calzaghe beating all the then current top MW's and SMW's when there were perfectly capable Mexicans in place to be boasted about.
