When the powers that be see something unusual like what Freddy showcased in this thread, they just sweep it under the rug.
Fighters in the future should be advised to look out and really inspect GGG gloves of choice. Really inspect the ones he's going to wear, like Mayweather inspected Marcos Maidana and found there was virtually no padding in the knuckle area of the pair he wanted to wear against him.

Those gloves that Freddy posted pics of look to me like they've been manipulated to further drive the cushioning away from the knuckle area of the glove.
No doubt that should be illegal.

If you hav'nt got a rep inspecting your opponent's gloves and wraps pre fight it's your fault.

Gloves should be subject to post fight inspection also....not sure if they are?

Rosado's camp objected at GGG choice of gloves. They said beforehand that there wasn't enough cushion at the knuckles but like with everything in boxing a fighter like Rosado or anyone in his camp isn't taken seriously.

Why was GGG allowed to wear his gloves with little padding in the knuckles?

When Floyd Mayweather made the same objection to the commission inspectors about Maidana's gloves having little cushioning at the knuckles, they somehow listen to him but not Rosado.

In boxing its about who's the A side, and since GGG hasn't fougth anyone of note, nothing his opponents say about his choice of gloves is taken serious.

You can bet that when GGG finally faces Canelo or anyone with any standing in boxing, he's not going to be allowed to wear those types of gloves like Rosado said felt like just the hard handwraps hitting him without the gloves being over them.
Rosado said it felt like GGG was hitting him with a club on his face.

You're really the one that's delusional if you just ignore the obvious fact of a deformity on the gloves that Freddy posted on here.

I'm mean really, how do you explain the deformity in GGG's gloves there????

Its incredibly hard to explain if you've ever used a pair of boxing gloves. Even if you did pushups in 5yr old sparring gloves from a gym, and the gloves were soaked, they wouldn't look anywhere near as manipulated as 3g's mma gloves.

Remember Margarito was this indestructible monster making Cotto quit like a hoe, ripping dudes ears in half etc. then brother naz and Shane put all that hype to rest and everything Margacheato did looks questionable in retrospect.

Things that make you go hmmmmmmmm

In retrospect Margarito was a pressure fighter who scored KO's off of tired opponents. He was never a one hit KO artist. GGG isn't either. GGG scores KO's from pressure and accurately landed shots.

Any he had a granite jaw, was a massive physically imposing ww with a great engine. Padding in gloves doesn't get you those other attributes.

while I disagree with the suspicion of Mr Wak in this thread, I do agree that the ABCs should sign a contract with the manufacturers to make the gloves to exact specifications and the opponents should choose one another's gloves, not approve them.
Also.....every HW/CW should wear one size, every LMW-LHW another, and LW-WW another, while the little guys could wear another.

This way, clowns like ZRoid Mayflower cant force guys like Cotto to wear pillows as it suits him.:thumbsup
