Who can come up with the shortest route, that has a flyweight world champion "beating" (you know: A beats B, who beats C... etc.) a heavyweight world champion?

Manny Pacquiao was a flyweight champion, so that could be the easiest and shortest route to find in the modern times at least.

Pacquiao beat Miguel Cotto, who beat Sergio Martinez, who beat Kelly Pavlik, who beat Jermain Taylor, who beat Bernard Hopkins, who beat Roy Jones Jr., who beat John Ruiz.

Terror and Mastrangelo both come up with the Pacquiao - RJJ connection, using only 5 intermediates... which isn't bad at all!

    However, there's a shorter way.

Len Harvey beat Larry Gains who beat Primo Carnera. That was easy lol.

I can't see this being beaten. Unlike Len, I don't think any of the HW champs made their pro debut at 12 years old, and it'd take a similiar peculiarity to go one better than Harvey-Gains-Carnera.
