We're looking for the boxer, on whose record we can find the most active (at least one pro fight) calendar years, where not a single defeat has been recorded. (draws, NCs allowed - only a loss disqualifies a year from being counted). Also, we're counting fights listed on BoxRec as newspaper decisions - as well as "official" fights. Edit: I can see from the first few answers, that I may not have been clear enough! Were looking for the number of undefeated years on a boxer's record! They don't have to be consecutive or at the start of a career. There may be any number of inactive years, or years with one or more defeats, in between the undefeated years. We're simply counting the number of active calendar years with no losses - no matter how those years are spread out over a boxer's record!
So the most active guy with the longest stretch undefeated… so they might debut at 0-1 and get 56-0 over twenty years and get KO’d in there last fight but they’re still in the mix?
Because I’m stupid he can have two 4 year periods undefeated broken up with a loss x2 and we’d count it as 8 years undefeated? If so very interesting, it’s about the amount of years not fights etc they just have to fight once a year.
